Black screen on kingdoms of amalur?

when i start kingdoms of amalur through steam there is a black screen and i cant see anything but i can hear the sounds. i played the demo with no problemBlack screen on kingdoms of amalur?

Chances are that your computer's video card can't handle the game. It's a pretty demanding game, too. The same thing happened to me with Bioshock when it was first released, a black screen but with all of the sound. You will have to upgrade your computer to meet the minimum specifications to play the game, or simply buy it on the console instead.
