Is it true that you can't jump in Kingdoms of Amalur?!?

Someone told me this but I really don't want to believe it. Is it true?Is it true that you can't jump in Kingdoms of Amalur?!?
you cant jump but u can dodge which is awesome and the only way to jump is that u get an option for it like if there is a small fence it says press x to jump something like that

Yeah you can't jump but I still find the game fun especially the combat. If you want a good long single player game you should really consider getting this game it has been getting mixed reviews but I think it is fun and if you are tired of shooters and you beaten skyrim you should give this game a shot.Is it true that you can't jump in Kingdoms of Amalur?!?
No jumping, but you can do a "jump-dodge" sort of thing in combat. There are points in the game world where your character can perform a canned animation and jump off ledges and such (kinda like those glowing points in FFXIII, if you've played that).

I was none too impressed with the KoA demo. Some people are saying that the full game is better, but to me it's nowhere near being worth $60. Still have to consider that this is the company's first RPG, so maybe they'll find a little success and produce something even better next time.
So what! You can't jump in Fable but that didn't stop it being one of the best RPG's of all time.
