Skyrim or Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?

I loved playing Oblivion and was stoked for Skyrim, but then I played the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur. Looking for some advice if anyone's played both on what to pick up for this weekend.Skyrim or Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?
If you want a combat-oriented RPG go with KoA.

It is perfect for gamers who love RPGs like Dragon Age, Fable, and Dungeon Siege.

The gameplay in KoA is much faster than in Skyrim.

If you want a slower Oblivion/Fallout RPG go with Skyrim: large desolate worlds made for exploration.

My personal choice would be KoA because:

~ there is more variation in the enemies you fight

~ the environments look more varied

~ the storyline is more epic

~ the side quests are more varied

~ people around you actually have a personality

They are both great games though, you will probably get them both eventually.Skyrim or Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?
if you get kingdoms don't bother trying to do everything, it's all pretty much similar. just do the main quest and any other quests that interest you. if you get skyrim you should take your time and slowly go through quests and explore the world at your leisure. kingdoms would be easier to play through quickly.Skyrim or Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?
I have only played Skyrim but I can say after 80+hours it is worth it. Plus the new creation kit just came out to make and play custom content on the PC.
Definitely get skyrim. More adventures, more addicting. Better than KoA
